Food is good. The only think that put this restaurant down is the service, they are upset all the times! No even one smile! Come on people! Life is beautiful! you will get more tips if you smile!

GREAT PLACE, FOOD AND SERVICE THE ONLY DOWN SIDE IS LIKE MANY RESTAURANTS IN IDAHO THEY DONT HAVE HARD LIQUOR :(

El Mariachi Loco is a great place to meet with friends or take out-of-town family visitors. Their food is great and their margaritas are great. I took my wife there for her birthday and she loved it. She had one of each flavor of margarita and had a ball. The server treated her like a queen.

My husband and daughter and I frequently eat at El Mariachi Loco and have always had a very pleasant experience. The staff is very efficient and friendly and the food is delicious. It is also a very clean and festive environment, without being tacky, which is important to me when I'm spending the money to eat out. My favorite dish is the "Tres Amigos," which is absolutely DELICIOUS. I recommend the flour tortillas with some extra house salsa which, in my opinion, is the best in Ada County. Thank you, El Mariachi Loco, for coming to Star. It's nice to eat somewhere besides Subway and a bar.

We have visited other restruarants in this chain and always had a great meal and great service. However,this was the most disappointing experience I have ever had at a restuarant. . First I was told they were "out" of the item I had originally ordered, so I ordered something different. My dinner was brought out about 10 minutes before my other guests, and was totally un-edible. The service was slow and the waitress was obviously frustrated with the kitchen staff. To their credit, they did remove the un-edible meal from the table and, at our request, took the cost off the bill. I don't recommend this establishment to anyone, nor will I be returning. Too bad, as I have enjoyed the other restaurants in the chain. Very disappointing.
