      Simon Forensic is owned and operated by Omar Simon, forensic chemist. Our focus is on metal testing, corrosion, coatings, aggregates, polymers, carbon fiber porosity and the physical chemistry of failure analysis. We are happy to serve the greater Seattle area and beyond! We are AASHTO R-18 accredited in aggregate testing. Our lab offers expert ASR testing: 16 day, 30 day and year-long tests can all be accomplished here. The metal testing department can identify ANY element on the periodic table to determine your metal alloy. In addition, we perform tensile tests, weld tests and hardness testing on metal or plastics. Our testing provides personalized, non-biased, third party verification of materials and can provide answers to solve issues such as product failure, quality control, foreign material identification and metal alloy ID. Our small independent laboratory gives you the ability to communicate directly with Omar and the testing staff while your test is running. Call him anytime for technical assistance or consultation.
