American Life League, founded in 1979, is a nonprofit, anti-abortion organization committed to provide education to the individuals throughout the United States. It opposes pregnancy termination and contraception. Its projects include Celebrate Life magazine, Rock for Life, STOPP International and the Crusade for the Defense of Our Catholic Church, and also coordinates a network of more than 60 local and regional anti-abortion groups across the country. Its Celebrate Life magazine covers various topics, such as abortion, adoption, human embryonic stem cell research, cloning, in vitro fertilization and euthanasia. It has a staff of more than 50 employees who work in various areas, such as grassroots activities, public policy, youth outreach, communications, development and resources. American Life League is headquartered in Stafford, Va.
