I was very hopeful after meeting that this would be a quick, professional, and mutually beneficial experience. I was sadly mistaken. Be prepared for them to not adequately discuss the work and price with you prior to performing SOME of the needed work and you paying for it. I suppose if you're an expert and have done this many times and know everything to ask, then maybe it is worth a gamble. However, to be told by professionals who do this every single day "well you never asked about it" is very frustrating. Additionally, I have called four times now to try and resolve this and the first 3 times I was told "I need to discuss this with the owner and I'll call you back." On the fourth call, after waiting nearly 2 weeks, I talked to the owner for a while and ended that call with "I need to talk to the employee who worked on this with you." Incredibly bad customer service. Price was better than competitors but it is likely going to increase now and end up about 50% more than the original quote. I would take my business elsewhere, but they wait until you're too far in to go anywhere else so you really have no choice. Terrible.

We purchased some of their in stock carpet for two of our bedrooms (great price) and they special ordered carpet for our living room. All of our carpet was installed in one day. Friendly and professional service and the installers were great.

I shopped around and Carpet center and floors beat everyone's prices. They had a huge selection and knowledgeable salesman. I love my new carpet and laminate floors. The installers were also very professional. I would recommend this store.

We were in a hurry to move and needed carpet quick. They had a huge selection of in stock carpet for us to choose from. They installed my whole house two days later. My husband and I were very impressed, THEY DID EXACTLY WHAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD DO!!! Our flooring looks great, highly recommended.

We recently purchased a remnant from Carpet Center and Floors on 9 Mile in St. Clair Shore for our up-north home. The carpet was marked 12x13, but when we unrolled it, it was only 12x12 - a foot smaller than it was marked. When we returned it, the owner treated us as though we were trying to cheat him! Right away he said he would not refund our money. We told him we didn't want the money, just the carpet. Since he didn't have more of the original style, we selected the only other style berber remnant he had since we had already laid the berber padding. Then he charged us the difference - said it was a higher quality. I explained that I didn't feel we should be charged anything more since we had incurred the expense of renting equipment and paying someone to install the carpet and would now need to rent and pay again. He would not budge. I'll never buy from them again and advise you steer clear too.Unhappy Customer
