This is not a good place to camp in a tent. They put the sprinklers on at night and it soaked the tent. The staff was not apologetic and said this always happened.

While the facilities at East Bay are excellent, we found the staff to be very inflexible when we stayed there for a several days last month. The office hours are very restrictive; and even if someone is in the office for "mail call," they will not provide any other services - no exceptions! Prices were reasonable. We will try to find a park that is more people-friendly for future trips to that area.Also, when we arrived, there were several requirements posted. We didn't know what some of them meant and/or we did not have the specified equipment with us, e.g. a particular sewer connection. This presented problems for us, especially since we could not get clarification since the office was not open at that time. Might not be a problem for others. (No, we don't expect the office to be open at all hours.)
