Although only established about six years ago, Platinum Paperhanging was a company years in the making. John Clift Jr., founder and contractor, has been in the paint and paperhanging industy for over 15 years ; following in the footsteps of his late father, who had also owned his own painting business. Unsatisfied with being a subcontractor to other larger companies, John knew that he could improve the industry by branching off on his own and establishing a company where personal relationships with customers merged with high quality of workmanship. This concept, not always met with larger companies, proved to be both beneficial and successful.
