Defensive Firearms Instruction is a veteran owned company that takes pride in offering the very best training possible. All staff and affiliated instructors are former military or prior law enforcement. We believe our students are a direct reflection of our professionalism as instructors. We do not shortcut our training ensuring our students have the greatest possible chance of success in the field. We offer a variety of services including Security Services, Security Training, Concealed Handgun Training, and Tactical Weapons Manipulation Courses. We offer security services to both individuals and companies. We offer companies Security Consulting and Executive Manager Services. We have the expertise to consult on any security related matters to ensure companies increase efficiency of their security programs. Executive Manager Services are designed to take care of the administrative aspect of having a company with security staff registered with the Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training (DPSST). We also offer in-house training for your existing security programs. Defensive Firearms Instruction operates off of a mobile training platform. We have a growing database of over 500 certified security professions throughout the State of Oregon. This gives us the unique ability to help companies in a manner that our competitors cannot. Our staff has the ability to train security officers with all applicable certifications needed for security operations in the State of Oregon on short notice. These certifications include; DPSST Armed, DPSST Unarmed, ASP Baton, ASP Tactical Handcuffing, and Defense Technology OC / Pepper Spray. Defensive Firearms Instruction has a several different firearm training programs available. We offer both live fire and lecture based Concealed Handgun Licenses classes. Our staff also does classes on demand for companies and groups of individuals all over the State of Oregon. Our Instructors have the ability to certify individuals for the Oregon, Utah, Florida, and Arizona concealed carry licenses. Defensive Firearms Instruction also offers a full line of tactical weapons manipulation courses. The courses we offer are designed to rapidly increase individuals level of proficiency with a wide variety of weapons systems. Training courses include; Handgun, Shotgun, Carbine, and Long Range Precision Rifle. Regardless of the services desired our staff of highly qualified instructors is here to assist with your needs. We always ensure our students and clients understand we are available to answer any questions prior to, during, and after receiving services.
