Just went here, and they have gone down hill. "We only have scalp potatoes for catering's" vary disappointing.. Will never go back.

We go here once a year or so, can't stand it any more than that....everything is just kinda so so.

Actually, I am writing this review because of a negative review that I noticed, that was posted on Jan 9 2010. I cannot believe the experience that this customer? reported. My family and I have visited Rudy's 12 0r 15 times in the last couple of years and our experiences to date, have been the exact opposite. We have a keen liking to Bar-B-Q's. We have traveled to all 50 states and visited many Bar-B-Q's. Our favorite has always been Dale's in Fort Pierce Florida. Rudy's, due to recent small changes in their menu, may have tied for #1. Tough call. Their staff, (Sorry, I don't know their names) has always been very friendly, accommodating and efficient. The food: I have a large appetite and I usually get a sandwich, cole slaw and baked beans. The sandwich is stuffed... I mean stuffed on an oversized bun. I've never left there hungry. We would go to Rudy's BBQ more often if they weren't 30 miles from home. I suggested to the manager that they put one in West Carrollton.

Excellent! We go to the new one on Bechtle. They think of everything, and the food is excellent!

We loved Rudy's the first time we tried it, a year or more ago. However, after tonight, we'll never go there again. Here's why:1. The employees were rude. They didn't seem to want to be bothered.2. We were not permitted to get one whole chicken to split, but were forced to buy two halves, which cost more.3. We prefer green beans, but were told none were available.4. We asked for only sweet sauce; they gave us only hot sauce. 5. Everything tasted about a week old; the chicken was as tough as old shoe leather! I'd offer it to our dogs, but they, too, prefer edible food.We'd have returned and demanded they make it right, but were too tired and hungry to bother.Rudy's used to be our first choice for barbecue. However, after tonight, we're going on a negative-press campaign and hope someone hears us!
