This place is a joke! Overloaded my truck with 3 yards when I had a trailer they could have put it on. Went back monday because I lost nearly a yard and came out short on the job. After bickering with the owner and person who loaded me, they said they would give me a free yard, but made sure to say so in a spiteful manner. Ended up paying $93 for mulch that wasn't even as good of quality as others have. Skip this place, make the drive to a place that knows and cares about what they're doing, becuse Mad River Topsoil obviously doesn't, and it shows in these reviews. Their time will come, probably sooner rather than later...

I was more than happy with the courteous, knowledgeable, and prompt service I received when I ordered mulch to be delivered. After calling several places for price and delivery, I decided to go with Mad River Topsoil. The mulch they recommended was perfect. I have ordered 5 Yards of mulch from a couple other places in the past but Mad River Topsoi['s 5 yards is much more. I will definitely order from them and highly recommend them.

I called Mad River Topsoil and Mulch and i'm pretty sure that the person I talked to has never heard of the phrase "customer service". Also, the delivery fee that they charge is double that of the company I decided to use. If you live in the Springfield area, don't feel like this is your only option. Look around and don't get gouged by high priced delivery or poor customer service.

I have been going to Mad River Topsoil for mulch for the past 15 years. I have had a great customer experience everytime and always receive a quality product. I highly recommend them!

The quality of the product seems pretty good. However, it is way too difficult to pick up mulch. There are too many other companies available who In my opinion provide much better customer service with far fewer hassles. I would not recommend going here.
