I don't like leaving bad reviews, but this place is SKETCHY and the staff is less than mediocre. They're rude and argumentative, especially the front desk, some lady who emerges from the back whom I have no clue what her role is, insurance maybe i don't know, and the person who is supposed to do the fittings but basically just leaves you standing there in front of a wall of frames with zero help at all while she is in the phone or keeps disappearing. The doctor seemed nice but a bit flighty and even though my left eye tested at a -3.0 she said eh, we'll get you a -2.75 since that's what you had before. Um???? Then tells me my insurance covers contacts and glasses to pick both. So I chose frames. Then asked to see the color contacts and was told they don't keep contact samples on hand they have to be ordered. So I ask for a certain color and wait a week for the trials and when they come in, they ordered every color but the one I asked for!! Then acted like I was at fault somehow?! I could go on and on but I don't have time, As I have to go over there again before work to pickup yet another trial pair before my actual prescription is even ordered. And then I was told both aren't covered so all my time choosing glasses frames was wasted. Anyway save yourself some time and stress and DONT GO THERE! It's not worth it!
I hate writing bad reviews, so when I do, you know it's awful. I am a 17 year old waitress who works very hard, goes to high school and college. My nearsightedness gets worse every year, so I rely on eye doctors a lot. If my prescription is wrong, I struggle driving intensely. So when I walked into this place, I'd hoped they were good because they Were the only ones who take my insurance. Everything seemed fine, and then a woman came out and told us that she swore her eyes had gotten worse, but they told her that her prescription was the same. Very odd. So I see the "doctor" and not only did she tel me that my prescription hadn't changed, she refused to sell me contacts because my eyes needed "time to breathe." Okay. Fine. So I go out and pick new glasses, since I have nothing else to wear. Since I would have to wear these glasses everyday, I picked ones I liked. They were 150 dollars, and I was okay with paying that. So now, 5 months later, I am getting severe headaches because I strain to see every day and constantly squint. My glasses also broke!! So I went to a vision center in WALMART people. And he had told me that my perscription had definitely changed. I now payed for two pairs of glasses, and contacts because the doctor at Walmart simply sold me contacts after checking my eyes to see if it was okay to wear them. I'm dissatisfied, and I think this eye place is a scam. How odd that people keep getting told their perscription hasn't changed...
