Coffee Expressions is a good location for free wifi in springfield. My work computer requires that I sign in to a VPN before accessing the web. Many other places in Springfield require that you accept the terms and conditions of the wifi usage policies by clicking on a button on a web page that gets foprced to your computer. Coffee Expressions just has a free open hotspot, just fire up the laptop and go. Lots of outlets for plugging in as well. The connection is a little slow (11 Mbps), so don't expect to come in a download a bunch of big files. It works well for general web usage though.The atmosphere is good. It was 20 degrees outside, and even though I was sitting right by the door, there was very little draft. The chairs are comfortable and plentiful for a small little shop.Free Trade coffee is on tap. I had a large latte ($3.55) with skim. It was comparable to most other coffee shops, not quite Starbucks.Service was very good. Lots of regular customers.

Great coffeee, but ridiculously slow service
