They've been charging me for 8 months for an empty storage unit because the lock was on it. I don't remember that part of the contract, if it's in there, fine. I asked for my contract faxed, they faxed a generic one. I asked them to cut the lock, they send I had to fill out a form. I did. Now I'm getting letters I owe MORE money or they'll auction my stuff. The unit has been empty since June 2012. It's March 2013. I'm not sure what they plan on auctioning. What's strange is I had auto debit set up, so why after 8 months do they call me saying rents overdue? My only thought is they knew I wasn't there, (especially since I signed a form I. June that I was moving out), and maybe their conscious kicked in? Not sure why they all of a sudden started to call me, the lady never answered my husband or I on that. I just know that they're crooked, dishonest and I plan to tell as many people as I can. I guess I will have to go to the storage unit I've been renting since I left there to find my paperwork since even though they said they had the form saying I moved out, they have yet to fax us a copy of it or my original signed contract. I'm really bothered by the fact that they knew I was gone but thought I might of "changed my mind". So, they allow people to just hang out w/o permission? The entire thing doesn't make any sense.

Sun West storage would not be your best choice as its management provides poor customer service, poor billing practices, and disclosure of your personal information to third parties.
