They were very nice, even though the server dropped half the pizza, they made us another one for free.

I had the regular crust Chicago Seven pizza. It was without a doubt the best pizza I have ever eaten in my life! If you like thick crust with lots of goodies, this is the pizza for you. I swear it must have weighed several pounds. I was stuffed after having had only one and a half pieces, but finished the slice anyway. After bantering with the exceptionally personable waiter, my party and I then proceeded to waddle happily on our way. What a great experience!

Only eat here if have a lot of time!

I have now eaten at Old Chicago twice. The first time was a Saturday night with another couple. We waited an hour to be seated. There is no waiting area just standing in the middle of everyone coming and going. When we were finally seated we were pleased to see a menu with a wide selection. We ordered our food and waited and waited. They brought our food and my friend's pizza was wrong. They said we could have that one and would make another one. After another wait the waiter came and told us they forgot to make it. So after another wait the right pizza finally arrived. We were all finished eating by the time the pizza arrived. After another 20 minutes we got our dessert. It took forever to get anything in this place. The food turned out to be ok but nothing special.

The second time we ate at Old Chicago we went on a Thursday night, We waited about 45 minutes this time to be seated. We had a party of seven and there were several other big parties. We waited about 15 minutes for a waitress to even come to our table. We ordered food and drink immediately to be sure we got our order going. Our order came out about 30 minutes later and my Calzone was wrong. Once again, I had to wait. By the time I got the right Calzone everyone in my party was completely finished eating. When we finally got a waitress to come bask we got drink refills and asked for our dessert. Dessert came about 30 minutes later, We had a couple of slices of cheesecake and a couple of big cookies. They ran out of the dough for the cookies and just made one big one instead of individual ones as the menu stated. Needless to say after spending 3 hours in this place we were ready to leave, The service was terrible and the food ok. I don't think I'll be returning anytime soon,
