Three weeks ago, I met my future daughter-in-law and her mother in Alexandria to purchase a wedding dress. We had 4 appointments made for the long weekend. The first boutique was less than desirable. Our second boutique was Global Bridal Gallery at 623 Washington St, Alexandria. What a beautiful, elegant, and quaint salon. We all loved it as soon as we walked in. And, Serki, the proprietor, was a gem! My future daughter-in-law had found a dress that she loved at the first boutique, but they informed us that they could not get the dress in time for the wedding day. Oh No! My future daughter-in-law really loved that dress. After trying on several dresses at Global, nothing compared to that first dress. Well, dear and wonderful Serki said that she might know another boutique that just might have that dress. Serki immediately called this other boutique in Maryland. OMG! They had the dress!!! Serki had the dress sent immediately to Global. The dress was there the next week!!
