I would like anyone who is considering working with Charles at Half-Price Hearing Aids to know … he is a mensch. A truly decent human being, and more. Charles worked with my father, providing him with good advice, good deals, and that rare, truly supportive service that one associates with a bygone age. When my father later suffered a stroke, and the hospital accidentally lost one of his hearing aids, it is Charles who went above and beyond, going far out of his way to bring a free demo unit to my father IN THE HOSPITAL. And he did so without any charge, no time limits, and no expectations placed upon us. With good advice and a sincerity of concern one rarely if ever sees, Charles took care of not only my Dad’s needs right up until the moment he passed some few months later, but also exhibited incredible patience and concern for my mom, looking out for her and letting us know when she (suffering from memory problems) ended up at his office, which happily she recognized and knew to be a safe place while lost on the way to a doctor’s appointment. Time and time again, Charles went far beyond any 'purely business' behavior and exhibited honor, concern, and support as a friend would. This is not a guy to ever ‘take advantage’; he IS a trustworthy and admirable individual whose friendship to my parents is deeply, truly appreciated – Charles went above and beyond to the nth degree, at every step. I will sing his praises to the rooftops, and attest that you can confidently do business with him, placing your trust in his good word, and good business, and good faith.

I have had several hearing tests, including highly advertised experts coming from other cities, (who did a quick test and told me I needed a $6000 pair of aids) and two tests in the military. Charles gave me by far the most thorough test and then advised but did not pressure me. I used trial aids which were MUCH better than my previous aids. I talked to him about a more expensive model, and he told me he did not think I should spend the money for very little difference in my hearing. When I did decide to buy a week or so later, he spent much time tweaking them for my best hearing. Then I went back in another two weeks for more adjustment. He told me to call anytime I wanted further adjustment at no charge.
The price I paid was less than I saw on line and he included all the service.
To me the service is the most important part of the sale, and I am well pleased.
