This business is pathetic. Do not buy from them, you will get screwed over. Customer service sucks, can't get ahold of anyone. Have no warranty on any car you get from them, gets denied when you are trying to fix your car. And the people who work at Springfield MO location do not know crap about cars. Tell u that there was no SPARK PLUGS IN VEHICLE. SO DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. They have no experience what so ever with customers.

Eva Ballinger I got a car from CarHop last year in around September I believe because I had no other choice! I didn't think my credit was good enough to go get a new car so I went to them. They didn't give me a lot of choices but being a single mom needing a car to get back & forth to work I got a 2001 Buick Regal in poor condition! I had to drive it thru the winter with no heat with my kids in the car! When I told them about the issue they told me to take it to their approved shop and they waived the diagnostic fee. Well when I took it to the shop the fee was $70! I told them it was supposed to be waived & they had no record of it. So I put a thick comforter in my back seat for the kids to cover up with on our 30 minute commute every day! Still faithfully giving them their payment each week. I'm in sales too & had worked with the Sales Rep Tyler at a previous employer of his so I felt comfortable letting him know that this was not a car I would be keeping, it was just to get me by til tax time. He said that's not a problem just stay current on your payments & you'll be fine & when you find something else just let us know. They were charging me $6000 for this car but I didn't pay attention to the price because I knew I wasn't keeping it. So I get a new car in February, super nice for almost half of what they were charging for their raggedy hoopty & called to tell them where the car was so they could go get it since I can't drive 2 cars at once & they said ok no problem. Well then I go to my mechanic shop where I bought the car from almost 2 months later to get some subs put in & I see the Buick still sitting there! I asked my guy if they had came to get it or why was it still there and of course he didn't know why but I called them again & asked them why they had not went out to get the car & they didn't have an answer for me. I think they left it there intentionally so it would seem as if I wasn't making my payments. The thing is I have a record of when I bought my new car & transferred the tags & the guys at the shop know how long it was there too so that was stupid on their part. Now I get a letter in the mail saying I still owe $5,000 on a car that #1 I gave back to you #2 I never was late on a payment #3 I was told I could return the car #4 The car wasn't worth a fraction of what they were charging for it. If the car was worth what they said it was why couldn't they just sell it to someone else since I willingly gave it back! I know that CarHop & UAC play the blame game pointing fingers saying no that's their department or whatnot but trust me, I've been in sales a long time & it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that CarHop & UAC are one in the same company just using 2 different names to try to screw people over. I have numerous blogs & sales pages not only locally but also nationwide & I will be making sure everyone knows about these unfair business practices & I save as many people as possible from getting screwed over. Times are hard enough as it is without people like them around. You can say goodbye to that $5,000 because I'm not gonna pay it & you can say goodbye to anyone that I could've sent your way to buy a car thru my social media sites. We all know negative word of mouth is way more effective than positive word of mouth. You all should be ashamed of taking advantage of people who are in tough situations as it is! Luckily I found a good honest car dealer who doesn't do business the way you guys do! If anyone needs to know where to get a car & not get screwed over let me know & I will put you in touch with the right people!
