I called Rons the last time it snowed. It was very messy outside and snowing. A technician came right over it was hard to detect what was wrong with it so the owner came over himself. Fixed it in less than an hour and the price was very affordable. This was the 2nd time I used them. I actually have to call them again for a good cleaning.

Very disappointed with the service I received. Ron's Oil burner service was the service company appointed by Pivotal Home Service for my yearly Burner and water heater inspection.On Friday, Sept 16th, the service tech failed to show up for my 5 pm appointment. I received no phone call, no notification. I called him to track him down, and he advised that he had an opportunity to attend a concert and was not going to make our appointment ( it was 6 pm!). He said he couldn't find my phone number to let me know. He said he would reschedule in a couple of days. 1 week later he called and the appoint was rescheduled. On Saturday , Oct. 1st, the service tech was a no show again- no notification. I left messages but he didn't return my calls. I called Pivotal Home service and advised them that I didn't want this company to come out to my house, to reschedule my home inspection with another company.Ron's Oil burner service is not reliable, and I would not recommend them to anyone.

I like Ron. He is pleasant, efficient, very helpful in explaining things to me and got the job done at the appointed time for a fair price. He's been at it for 35 years, so you know he knows what he's doing. If there were 6 stars, I'd give him a six! :) Thanks again, Ron

As others on this board, I woke up with a very cold shower (well water),,,, I called Ron, (I saw his truck earlier this month and lucky that I wrote down his number (just in case I ever needed service) He was on another job but as soon as he finished he promised that I'd be next in line...Well his promise was as good as gold, cause ten minutes later he called me and said he was on his way too my home in Chicopee..He was very professional, polite, and extremly honest, He invited me down to watch him work, and show'd me the problem (wow was he good) he know's his stuff that's for sure, anyway's w/in fifteen minute he had my hot water working again, and adjusted my burner so it uses less oil, and was much quieter then before...........Thx's Ron...............O' yea the best part was he didn't at all over charge me, the bill was quite low for what he did to get my burner working again......Ron your my oil man for now on!! Thank you Ron. like all the others that have written in with five stars ratings, I now know why so many folks have said good thing(s) about Ron's service...I used him and was extreamly happy with his service, promptness, clean, professional, honest service... I'll recommend Ron to everybody....I had two oil service companies come to my house, both quoted very, very high prices to replace my heating unit, he said to me let's try to fix the problem first before we replace the whole unit.. Well it turned out to be a $4.50 valve that was blocked, he changed it and the burner came to life, Ron saved me over $6,500 dollars..His prices were very fair, and he didn't over charge me at all....Thanks Ron..

During our big snowstorm we had here in january, I woke up freezing, I called around and no one would come out.. I was recommended by my friend Ron's Oil Service... I called him and he immeadially said that he would come out to help me....20 minutes later he was at my door, invited me down to watch what he was doing....Well he did his magic, and showed me that it was NOT going to be an expensive day for me... w/in 15 minutes he had the heat going again for me, and the bill was 1/2 what I thought it was going to be..HE DID NOT OVER CHARGE ME AT ALL, I actually didn't think he charged me enough for all the extra service he had to do on my old furnace to make it work like it does now..........Thank you Ronnie, your my fix it man for now on!

I own several rental properties and I was extremely satisfied. When you call, Ron will personally answer. He was there within an hour of me calling. We worked together for about 2 hours and he systematically went through everything from the oil tank to boiler. There were multiple problems including clogged oil filter, wrong size nozzle which used a lot more fuel than necessary, a bad CAD sensor, stripped threads where the oil line connects to burner and loose wires on the thermostat. He got the boiler running again and improved its efficiency. My bill was $257 which I thought was reasonable. Ron is an expert, oil burners are all he does. -Tony Sorcinelli

Well it was Thanksgiven day, I was freezing, I called three companies, and they all laughed and said No Way were we going out...My neighbor gave me Ron's Oil Service number. I called him, and he said "sure I can help you"... W/in fifteen minutes he was at my door, and like others invited me downstairs, to watch (I like that) he showed me what was wrong (black box on top of motor) he replaced it, and sure enough, the burner fired right up...he made a few adjustments, so I would use less oil, and the second best part was that he didn't over charge me (quote: have a Happy thanksgiven "he said"...His bill was totally lower then I thought it would be....Ronnie your my oil repair man for now on! OMG! I was getting cold, my furnace was not starting, I do have a baby in the house (my daughter's).... I looked up this site and called Ron (because of all these five stars posts)..I could not believe my ears when he said Quote: I'm actually on your street NOW, I'll be there in two minutes, I looked out my window,and he was backing in my driveway... perfect timing he smiled, and like others invited me down so I could actually see what was wrong with my furnace.....He fix'ed it and didn't over charge me!! OK I tried my heat for the first time this year, and dang the burner started and then shut off within a couple of minutes, I tried a couple of times but it kept shuting off...Panic set in! Who do I call? Well I called a local oil company, and because I don't get my oil from them, I was refused service immeadially...I then remembered going past Ron's office often, and drove to his home, he immeadially, smiled, and said sure, let's get you some heat.. He followed me to my house and serviced my heating system...Within 20 minutes I had more heat then ever, He did some extra adjustments on my burner so I would also save on oil usage.........Thank you Ron, your my oil man for now on!! Well I might as well put my two cents in also..........Monday AM. I woke up ready to take a shower let it run awhile but still cold "Dang"........OK now what do I do?? look'ed up oil technicians in the Spfld area...Up came Ron's Oil Burner Service, with all these reviews, I had no choice, I gave him a call, BUT he was on another service but was just finishing up.. Said I'd be next in line, he was at my home w/in 15 minutes, and like all the others invited me downstairs to watch (he was interesting too watch cause he actually show'd me how this furnace worked)....He show'd me the black box on top of burner was not working, and replaced it...the burner "came to life" fire right up and within 5 minutes I had hot water..........O'yea he didn't over charge me either (very fair) One happy "clean" customer

Thank you Ron, Like others on a early Saturday morning (9/20/14) I woke up to no hot water (what a horrible feeling)... I looked up oil burner tech's on the computer, saw all these wonderful reviews, that Ron had an "thought" this is going to be expensive, BUT I needed him, gave him a call, His wife answer'd the phone, she was very nice, said, I'll have Ron call you right back. as he was busy, too my surprise, within five minutes Ron call'ed and said he be right over too help me out..In fifteen minutes, he was at my house, invited me downstairs, show'd me what was wrong, fix'd the problem, and I had hot water in ten minutes........He saw that I had a baby (3 months old) didn't charge me a emergency service charge (said , buy the baby a toy) and only charged me a labor fee, and for the part that he had to replace...very fair, very professional, very polite, very knowledgeable..I now have an oil burner tech, that I will call all the time....Thank you Ron... I woke early this morning to go to work, started to take a shower, and NOTHING but cold water.......Dame! I'm going to be late for work, "thinking" that it would be hours before I could get a technician here to fix my problem...I called two other oil companies first, but they could not come out till the next day or two... My neighbor called and said try Ron's Oil Burner Service [as she has used him and always been happy] So I called Ron's and he was at my home within 10 minutes, invited me downstairs, show me what was wrong, fix'd my problem (I like him as he had all parts needed in his truck) and within 15 minutes later I had hot water..... His prices were low and very fair, and didn't over charge me! ( I'm happy) I will use Ron's Oil Burner Service for now on..........O' yea he also adjusted my burner so I would use a lot less oil to heat my house and water.........and I made it to work on time!!! I had no hot water, my neighbor gave me Ron's name, I had to drive by his home to get his tele number off of his truck....I called him he came right over, and fixed our boiler, show'd me what was wrong, replaced it immeadially, burner fired up, O'way he also adjusted the flame so I would use less fuel....he was very helpful.....Thank you Ron O my dad's burner went bad a week later and I gave him Ron's name also, Ron did the same for dad...Soooooo now he has two more very happy customers.. I googled his name, and up came all these wonderful reviews, I call'd and tried to make it till Monday morning, cause I didn't want to bother him on a Sunday morning...BUT TO MY SURPRISE he said, no way, I'm NOT going to make you wait, I'll be right over... 15 minutes later he was knocking on my door.......Too make a log story very short ...Aaaaaa that heat feels wonderful........... thank you Ron and he didn't over charge me...

Ron's name came up with all these reviews.......I just had to call, expecting a very long wait......I was wrong he came right out, invited me down with him, so I could watch exactly what was repaired, I was happy that it was an easy fix, I had heat in fifteen minutes... While there he adjusted my burner so I would use less oil.....He didn't overcharge me either.........~Ron your my oil man for now on~
