Dr. Monte Wheeler is a Northwest Arkansas native who graduated from Springdale High School and attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree, he continued his education at the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry where he graduated with honors in 1994. Dr. Wheeler completed a General Practice Residency at Saint Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Afterward, he successfully completed an additional residency in Dental Implant Restoration with Mid-America Institute. Dr. Wheeler ensures that he is educated on the latest techniques and practices by annually attending Dental Continuing Education Courses in excess of 40 hours per year. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the Northwest Arkansas Dental Society. Dr. Wheeler is committed to a lifetime of learning and continually seeks opportunities to further his knowledge and improve his skills. A love for family, friends and the beauty of the Ozarks lured Dr. Wheeler and wife, Shelly, back to Springdale. In addition to a busy dental practice, the two of them stay active with their two children: Chloe and Mac, church and community. Northwest Arkansas provides the perfect setting for their favorite activities: fishing, hunting, boating, playing sports, and cheering for the Razorbacks.
