      Terrible service and horrible lady/clerk at the front office. She needs another job that doesn't deal with customer service or even dealing with people.

      I used to go to a vet in Fayet...

      I used to go to a vet in Fayetteville because it was closer, but now that I have been to Southwest Pet Hospital, I will drive to Springdale every time. Dr. Wendell is the best, seriously. You can just tell that your pet is going to get excellent care here from the moment you walk in, because the entire staff exudes energy and enthusiasm for their field. They also work with the local shelter and rescues, and they even have their own dog rescue called Recycled Rovers, which is where I plan to adopt from when I get a house. Southwest Pet Hospital is just an all around excellent vet.

      Southwest Pet Hospital has been been caring for the pets of Springdale for over 40 years. In 2011, Dr. Michelle Wendell is proud to call Southwest Pet Hospital her new home. Dr. Wendell has a strong passion for excellent patient care and customer service. We encourage you to drop in and visit us. Our door is always open. We offer complete medical and surgical services for cats and dogs, including in house and reference laboratories, radiology, dentistry, and pain management. Preventative medicine, customized vaccine protocols and managing problems in our senior pets is among our priorities. Dr. Wendell has had many years experience in treating difficult ear, skin and allergy problems as well as seeing second opinions. In addition to our regular veterinary services, we also offer boarding and routine bathing/hygine services. Dr. Wendell also has a strong belief in community service and is very active in animal rescue efforts. Southwest Pet Hospital's Recycled Rover Rescue has rescued nearly 70 animals from certain death in overcrowded shelters and rehomed them in their first 6 months of existance.
