This cleaners destroyed a custom comforter - by washing instead of dry cleaning. The silk trim was ruined and the comforter shrunk and no longer fits the bed. After bringing this to their attention, no manager was available after 3 attempts. No manager phone numbers/names would be given to resolve the issue. On our 4th attempt to the store, we were cussed at, threatened.

I have worked in Customer Service for 7 years and these people have no idea what that is! I spent a little over $200 on a formal dress and decided to have it pressed and dry cleaned before the event so I had my boyfriend take it to Select Cleaners. They were charging him $53 to press a brand new dress! As soon as I heard I rushed over to speak to them because this was way too much. The young lady I spoke to said that they take "special" care of their customers and their items and they would do a very good job, she even discounted $10. I gave them a chance and left it. BIG mistake! When I went back, they stained my dress and there was an ugly wrinkle going down the whole side of the dress. The same girl sat there and argued with me and said that the stain was there before I took it and said they could redo the wrinkle. For $45 (with tax) I thought it was ridiculous that they had to RE-DO their work. Well to conclude my WARNING, I had to pay the full amount, I had to take it somewhere else and pay again because I did not trust them, the 3rd day I went to speak to them I woke up at 7:00 am to go speak to the owner and never could, and they accused me of being cheap and just wanting my money back. They said "my kind" were like that. I'm Mexican-American. I left that place in tears and very disappointed.
