      Best Surgical care

      I've been quite pleased with surgical care and commitment by Dr. Cannon and his staff. Dr. Cannon's exams were thorough and he explained what to expect with surgery, treatment and follow up. The surgery went better than I expected and I'm quite pleased with results. Each detail of post op recovery was explained and adhered to with excellent results. I'm in the physical therapy phase and am extremely happy to have pain free freedom of movement.
      Dr. Cannon and his staff are top notch.

      Carl. L. Cannon, M.D. is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon and Sports Medicine Specialist. Dr. Cannon was born in Raymondville, Texas and graduated Valedictorian from High School. He graduated SUMMA CUM LAUDE from Texas A&M University and received his medical degree from Texas Tech University School of Medicine. He completed his 5-year orthopedic residency at Scott & White Memorial Hospital. His Sports Medicine training was performed with the Houston Oiler’s physicians. Dr. Cannon founded The Woodlands Sports Medicine Centre in 1985 and has served as Chief of Staff of The Surgery Center of The Woodlands, Chief of Surgery at Memorial Hermann Hospital in The Woodlands, Assistant Clinical Professor of Orthopedic Surgery for Baylor College of Medicine and Clinical Consultant for the Shriner’s Hospital for Crippled Children. Dr. Cannon is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and a member of Texas Orthopedic Association, Texas Medical Association, American Medical Association, Texas Society for Sports Medicine and American College of Sports Medicine. Dr. Cannon is a Diplomat of the American Academy of Pain Management and a Fellow of the American Academy of Disability Evaluating Physicians. Dr. Cannon has privileges at Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Woodlands Parkway, St. Luke’s Community Medical Center of The Woodlands, Memorial Hermann Hospital of The Woodlands and The Iron Man Institute.
