We purchased a new $6000 heat pump, furnace and thermostat three summers ago. Since then, we've required service every six months which has rung up over a thousand dollars of service calls. I had to threaten a lawsuit and finally got the outside unit replaced "under warranty" which still cost me 700 under "labor and non-warranty equipment!" So last week they charged me 140 dollars to un-kink a drain-pipe that they installed and left the kink in! NEVER AGAIN will I call these people!

I do not suggest using this buisness. I am in the military and was away from home, when I recived a call form my wife saying our farnace was making loud noises. I called Sturm and they came up (75$ trip charge) and said that I needed a new motor and blower wheel. They went on saying that I might want too just change the entire furnace because of high repair costs. (Repair=$600 Replace=$2,000). I chose to repair it. After two weeks of waiting I called back and spoke with a manager where he had again suggested that I buy a new furnace. I said NO again. I also told him it sounded like they did not want to help because i was not spending alot of money on a new furnace. I went ahead and called another repair facility and they charged me a total of 287 dollars to fix it. Also Sturm had no problem cashing there initial trip charge of $75. Unless you are planning on purchasing a new furnace I do not recommend this company.
