Roosevelt Elementary School offers a core curriculum in math, reading and writing. It publishes a monthly newsletter that features information on school activities and programs. The school also manages a volunteer group that offers assistance with classroom activities and works on special projects at home. Roosevelt Elementary School additionally operates a parent-teacher group that shares information and ideas, raises funds and provides opportunities to enhance the academic, physical and social learning of students. Located in Spokane, Wash., the school also emphasizes technology skills and provides more than 60 computers for students use. Roosevelt Elementary School is a part of Spokane Public Schools.
