Founded in 1990, Moran Prairie Elementary School serves more than 500 students in kindergarten through grade six. It is a Blue Ribbon School approved by the Department of Education. The school features a library, gymnasium, classrooms and restrooms. Moran Prairie Elementary School s core curriculum includes math, science, reading and writing. It also offers music and health and fitness classes. The school s parent-teacher group supports various enrichment programs and fundraising and family events. Moran Prairie Elementary School works in a partnership with Office Depot to promote work-to-school transitional experiences. It provides various special education, volunteer literacy, and before- and after-school programs. The school offers membership options for math and art clubs. Moran Prairie Elementary School also provides homework support services. It additionally maintains the Principals Advisory Committee. The school is governed by Spokane Public Schools.
