Azteca Mexican Restaurants started as a 24-seat restaurant in 1974 in Burien, Wash. Today, it operates more than 30 restaurants throughout the United States. The restaurant chain employs over 1,400 people who serve nearly 400,000 customers every month. Azteca Mexican Restaurants features a selection of Mexican cuisine, including a variety of salads, soups, burritos, enchiladas and fajitas served in a Hacienda-style atmosphere. Nine of its locations also feature a Tortillieria machine that prepares fresh tortillas for guests in the dining room. The restaurant chain sells gift cards of several denominations that can be redeemed at any of its locations. Azteca Mexican Restaurants maintains a location in Spokane Valley, Wash.
