Spiro High School is a part of Spiro Public Schools, which operates lower and upper elementary, middle and high schools. Spiro High School offers a variety of honors and standard diploma courses. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as accounting, agricultural economics, algebra, biology, chemistry, computer information and clothing management. It also offers courses in history, trigonometry, physiology, animal science and parenting. In addition, the school offers classes in art, band, drama, music and physical education. It provides foreign language programs in Spanish. The school offers a variety of sports activities, including football, baseball, basketball, softball, and track and field. Spiro High School operates several student organizations, such as a quiz bowl and chess and drama clubs.
