Owen Valley Middle School provides education to students of seventh and eighth grades. It academic curriculum includes reading, mathematics, technology, science, language arts and computer applications. The school also offers classes in health education, visual arts, music, Spanish, and family and consumer sciences. Additionally, it provides recreational activities, which include music bands, choirs and athletics competitions. It offers special education to students with speech and hearing disorders. Owen Valley Middle School has enrollment of more than 400 students. It is affiliated with the Spencer-Owen Community Schools Corporation and is located in Spencer, Ind.
