Sparta Middle School, accredited by the North Central Association Commission, offers enrollment to more than 1000 students in grades five through eight. It offers services through various departments, such as administration, human resources, food, maintenance and transportation. The school offers classes in communications, English, math, music, science, life skills, applied technology, foreign languages, social studies, computer, health and physical education. Students who struggle with meeting the standards for the core subject areas are offered assistance in the weekly homework club. It also offers participation in clubs, including drama, camp and National Honor Society. The school s extracurricular activities include sports, such as soccer, swimming, baseball, chess, basketball and volleyball. Sparta Middle School is located in Sparta, Mich.
