Located in Sparta, Mich., Ridgeview Elementary School serves more than 600 students in grades two through four. The school s academic curriculum includes language arts, mathematics, social studies, science, and health and physical education. In addition, Ridgeview Elementary School offers a range of enrichment activities, including assemblies and field trips. The school s parent-teacher association organizes various activities that include field day, Grandparents' Day, ice cream social and several other events. The school also offers before- and after-school programs. Ridgeview Elementary School's kindergarten offers a full-day program that includes reading and cursive writing. The school conducts classes in Spanish for all elementary grades. Ridgeview Elementary School also has a computer laboratory with instruction for each grade. Its sports activities include basketball, volleyball, baseball, cross country, tennis, and track and field. Additionally, Ridgeview Elementary School provides special education to students with special needs.
