General Info
Each month we feature one special volunteer to thank them for helping Randolph County Human Society. We couldn't succeed without great volunteers !Every day, unwanted, neglected, and abused animals find themselves in city or county animal control facilities awaiting death. Randolph County Humane Society works with these organizations to rescue animals and place them in loving homes or other no kill shelters. We operate a limited access animal shelter ( not affiliated with Randolph County Animal Control ). We are a private, 501c3 organization operated by volunteers and donations. Our team strives to provide the best possible care and provide good adoptable homes for the many of unwanted animals in our possession.Randolph County Humane Society is a limited access animal shelter, which means that we can only accept animals based on the space we have available at the shelter at that time and in foster homes. We are a no-kill shelter, but sadly, we must humanly euthanize animals with serious behavioral problems or severe illnesses. We work with the public and many other rescue organizations throughout the mid-west to place animals into good homes or rescues. The shelter is maintained solely with the help of volunteers and donations, we DO NOT get help from HSUS or any other state, county, or city, Fedral or Goverment organazations. You can help us make a difference in the life of a shelter animals by opening your home and your heart through, adoption, fostering, volunteering or donations. Thank you for your neverending love and support, please continue to help spread the word, SPAY & Neuter, and save a life ADOPT! Donations are a must so Randolph County Humane Society can continue to keep the doors open, so we can save the lives of the unfortunate souls that nobody wants. The Mission of Randolph County Humane Society is to make a difference in the lives of animals and in the community. We are a charitable organization promoting responsible pet ownership. RCHS is dedicated to creating a world where our relationship with animals is guided by compassion. Our goal is to help prevent animal cruelty and place abandoned, adoptable, healthy pets in loving new homes. We cherish our animal companions for their unconditional affection and acceptance. We seek a truly humane society in which animals are respected for their learning ability and value, and where the human-animal bond is strengthened and seen. With everyone's help we continue to save lives one by one.
