Opened in 1955, Chesapeake Terrace Elementary School serves more than 150 students and employs over 10 classroom teachers. The elementary school serves students in pre-kindergarten through grade five. Chesapeake Terrace Elementary School has a library that provides accessible reading materials for a range of interests at various levels. The library promotes reading and library skills through specially designed activities and programs. The school s curriculum includes reading, physical education, music, language arts, English, math, science, social studies and basic skills. It also offers a variety of athletic and exploratory courses. Located in Baltimore, Chesapeake Terrace Elementary School has a parent-teacher association that sponsors various events and activities.
