That's the worst place you could ever cut your hair. They make you wait like an hour. I cut my hair their and it looked like a 5 year old child cut it. Don't waist your time coming here.

Owner is a very nice friendly woman BUT I DON'T GET THE HAIRCUT I WANT.I SHOW HER PICTURES AND TELL HER HOW I WANT IT STYLED BUT IT IS AS IF SHE IS NOT PAYING ATTENTION TO MY INSTRUCTIONS.

First time I went, I was taken care of by Susana. She was very friendly and did a great job on my hair. I decided to go back and there were 3 ladies working who all ignored me completely. After just standing at the counter for 15 minutes without even being acknowledged I turned around and left. I'm sure I won't be giving them a 3rd chance either!

I went to get a haircut by the hairstylist named rocio. She is the best she is my new hairstylist! She is so friendly, clean, and gives you the best quality!! She moved to My Salon Studio #2 the corner of Sullivan & Mccarran next to Ben's liquor store she is still amazing! HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER! I went here a month ago and the hair cut I recieved was AMAZING! I asked for only my split ends to get cut off and to add more layers, and they did exactly that! So I decided to go in again this weekend and I noticed a MAJOR change! There is new hairstylist. This time i wanted to dye my hair, and I walked in and Rocio was avaliable. After she dyed my hair the EXACT way I wanted, actually even better than what I imagined. She took her time and concentrated on my hair. She treated with so much respect and greeted me with a smile. I recomended this place to all my friends an family, because it was the best expierence I ever had at a salon. This salon has changed a lot but in a better form.

So I've had my hair red for about 6 months and finally decided to go back to my natural color which is brown and add some highlights in it. I decided to come to Mayras salon to have that done which is the WORST decision I could have ever made! I come in only to be stared at and not asked a single question for about 5 minutes then finally get asked if I needed some assistance. After telling then what I wanted and getting a quote between 60-80 dollars I was ready to get my hair done. Thinking that they would already have the products there was another mistake. The owner sent her daughter to the store to purchase the things that were needed to do my hair. How unprofessional is that?! So without even warning me the lady Martha starts bleaching my whole hair. I obviously don't know much about hair otherwise I would of done it myself. She said she needed to bleach it so that the brown would hold to my hair color. Me thinking she's a "professional" I let her do what she needed to do. It took over 3 hours for her to bleach my hair and rinse it out, not to mention that she would keep me waiting while she would cut other clients hair, and I'm not talking once or twice, I mean SEVERAL different times. So finally it was time to color my hair and add highlights to it. The whole process took over an hour which I have no problem with because she seemed to know what she was doing. So she rinsed my hair out and dryed it with a towel then I went back to the chair so she could trim it. When she took the towel off I was HORRIFIED!!! My whole hair was bleach blonde! I told Martha where is the brown color?! She looked very nervous and said that it takes time after bleaching it for my hair to take color. EXCUSE ME?! If this was true then she should of said something BEFORE we went through the whole process. I was beyond infuriated! Close to tears to be honest, my whole hair was blonde and where it was supposed to be brown it was an orangish color. I couldn't take it anymore so I asked how much it was so I could just get out and vent because at this point in time I had been there for about 6 hours. She then says 125 and I just looked at her and said are you serious? She then goes into this story about how she had to use a lot of product in my hair and what not so without arguing because I was about to explode I gave her my card, paid the amount and stormed out of the salon. I was so embarrassed and beyond angry. So the next day I filament decided this wasn't just going to fly with me so I called her and told her she needed to dye my hair brown because what I got was not what I asked for. Not even close! Martha kept making excuses for what happened and I told her I didn't want to hear it and that she needed to dye my hair brown and that I wasn't going to pay. Finally she said to go back to the salon so I did and when I got there nobody greeted me and she just gave me a dirty look. After about 10 minutes she finally acknowledged me but with an attitude. I chose the color I wanted her to dye it and sat down in the chair. The whole time she was dying my hair she said not one word to me and seemed to have a big attitude. Once she rinsed out my hair I left without a single word. Once I got home I noticed what a HORRIBLE job once again she had done. My hair has patches of hairs that are noticeably bleached still. I could not believe it. This is the worst salon I have ever ever EVER been to, I wouldn't recommend anybody come here. Save your time and your money for something that's actually worth it and for someone who actually know the the hell they are doing!
