Archbishop McCarthy High School, located in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., offers education to more than 1,100 students in grades nine through 12. Its curriculum includes subjects, such as Mathematics, social studies, science, foreign languages, fine art, psychology and business studies. The school also offers subjects that include microcomputers applications, journalism and international relations. It has a media center and provides a wide range of services, such as academic guidance and career counseling. The school has various clubs, including art, chess, environmental, literary and liturgy clubs. The extracurricular activities offered by the school include drama and forensics. The sports activities provided by the school include cross country, football, swimming, volleyball, golf, cheerleading and dance.
