      I am Monica R. Savidge, a North Carolina attorney helping people receive government disability benefits. Social Security Disability can seem confusing, but I clear away the mystery. You may be frustrated that someone you know got SSD benefits rather quickly, yet your claim has been denied or ignored. The process is usually very slow, and I understand your frustration. Be assured that I will stay with you from your initial application through all denials and appeals all the way up to the federal level, if necessary.You may qualify for Social Security Disability (SSD), Supplemental Security Income (SSI) or both. I help you understand the difference between SSD and SSI, and work with you to achieve a successful application for the benefits that are appropriate for your disability. My New Hanover County office is in Wilmington and I have a Brunswick County office in Southport. I provide personal legal assistance to disabled people in many other southeastern counties of North Carolin a: Onslow, Columbus, Bladen, Pender, Duplin, & Sampson.
