Yarmouth Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) in South Yarmouth, Massachusetts, provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults age 18 and older who are struggling with an opioid addiction. MAT combines customized counseling with the use of prescription medication to alleviate the uncomfortable symptoms of opioid withdrawal. Adults who choose MAT at Yarmouth CTC receive a prescription for methadone, Suboxone, or buprenorphine and take this medication under the guidance of a healthcare professional. MAT at Yarmouth CTC also includes individual and group counseling sessions where adults can identify the root causes of their struggles with opioid use disorder.
