Consumption of Alcohol!!!

I have been dining at Rasham restaurant for many years and I have seen the restaurant's improvement over the years. Unfortunately, much to my dismay and great disappointment I have witnessed customers consuming alcohol next to the table my family (thirteen year old son) and I were sitting at tonight.

Tonight was my first night to witness this as I know that there is a sign on the front door of the restaurant that states "strictly no alcohol beverages allowed". As a Muslim I find it insulting to be sitting in a HALAL restaurant and the people sitting next to my table are doing something HARAM. One of the main reasons I choose to dine at this restaurant is that the food served is halal and there is no alcohol allowed on the premises (not until tonight)! The alcohol was not purchased in the restaurant but was brought in from outside and was being consumed by non-Muslims.

When I proceeded to pay my bill I checked with a staff member and I was told that these people are regular customers at this restaurant and are always the last to leave!! I asked if the owner was aware of what was going on and I was told "Yes, he is and he has told them on several occasions not to bring in alcohol"!!!.

I left this restaurant tonight feeling betrayed

and violated and I do hope other Muslims will speak out about this before it is too late.

strongly dont recomand.

This restaurant will rob you in plain day light, will serve little bit food and charge you too much. the food will be months old and just microwaved and served. you might get food poisoning and they wont blame on food, they will blame on spices soo good luck to everyone. for 2 things they will charge you 35 dollars and for 4 things 55 dollars & up and soo on, takes too long for too little food. if you want to blow your money and get sick this is the place to go...
