They killed my bird. Wors place to take your pet to. They honestly don’t even deserve one star, if the system would allow me I would put 0. Horrible place, un professional. They know NOTHING.

Terrible. Same experience as others. I brought my ill cat in. They said they needed to do tests...$3000 of tests. After which they said they hadn't been able to determine what might be wrong...but they said I should leave him there for another specialist to see..put him under general anesthetic (even though it might kill him) and do more tests, maybe open him up. When I asked "what for", the response was: We might find something. "such as? what are you looking for?" "anything". And how much would this cost..another $5000. I took Socks home. He got better. This place is wholly and only focused on creating huge bills and shows no concern for their patients at all. Terrible and disgusting.I would give it no stars if that were possible.

Both terrible and useless. My cat was ill, so I brought him in to have the illness looked at. They insisted that over $4000 of tests should be done. Then announced they'd "found nothing", but I should allow them to have a specialist brought in to do more test, for at least $5000 more. When I pushed to ask what they were looking for, they couldn't say anything beyond "anything we might find". I've taken my cats to many other animals hospitals and vets, when they've been well, when they've been very ill. I've never been charged more than $300, even for a lot of attention and treatment. These awful people didn't show any concern at all about my cat, they were just interested in making huge bills. A terrible place with terrible values. I heard that the vets and staff who objected to this type of practice were pressured out or left in disgust. I will never go to another VCA animal hospital ever. This is the animal equivalent of those horror story abusive nursing homes for elderly people. I'd like to give it a negative 5 rating if it were possible. It doesn't deserve even the 1 star that is the minimum allowed in this rating system. If you love you pets, don't bring them near here.

Not a satisfied patient!

My experience seems similar to others here. Took my greyhound in with a high fever, waited hours to see a vet. When I did see the vet she presented me with a $4,000 estimate for test procedures. As it was I left with my still sick dog after paying over $1,000 just to have her on an IV for a couple of hours and no diagnosis. The next day I went to my own vet and within an hour had an accurate diagnosis of Lyme disease and for less than $500, she was cured. I will never set foot in VCA again!

Stay away from VCA Weymouth at all costs!!! THIS PLACE IS A TOTAL RIP-OFF; THEIR PRIMARY FOCUS IS GETTING AS MUCH MONEY AS POSSIBLE FROM YOU WHILE YOU'RE AT YOUR MOST VULNERABLE. I spent $2,000 on tests and didn't even get a diagnosis-they just wanted to do more tests (an get more money of course!) My dog presented with classic symptoms of FCE (fibrocartilaginous embolism) which is fairly common and they didn't even mention it as a possibility! Now I know, of course, that FCE animals almost recover on their own which means NO MORE MONEY FOR THIS EXTREMELY UNETHICAL VETERINARY PRACTICE.
