I purchased a $3k mattress manufactured by Bountiful Rest Mattress Company because of its 20-year warranty. Within a few months, it had developed sags. On closer inspection, I saw the warranty stated the company would only offer replacement after an indeterminate number of attempts to repair it had failed. I got for the retailer who sold me the mattress to return it to the manufacturer for "repair" - it was returned to me in the same condition. Later, the retailer I bought the mattress from went out of business, so I had to deal directly with Bountiful Rest. I asked them about my options and was rudely told they wouldnt assist me in getting the mattress back to them for a second attempt at repair and suggested that I rent a moving truck. Instead, I threw that $3k mattress into the back bedroom and replaced it with a Sears mattress that cost 1/4 the price and works great. My advice? Stay away from Bountiful Rest Mattress, as their warranty isn't worth the paper it's printed on.
