Founded in 1960, Richard Bland College offers bachelor s and associate degrees. It provides bachelor s degree in arts and science. It also offers distance education courses to students those who are unable to join regular classes. Its library provides various resources and materials to students, such as encyclopedia, research databases, DVDs, books, magazines and journals to complete the research work. The college is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Richard Bland College offers classes in biology, physics, chemistry, art, English, mathematics, music and physical education. The college enrolls more than 1,000 full-and part-time students.
