Proto-Techniques is a United States subsidiary of Reko International Group near Novi, Mich. Reko International Group is a publicly traded company on the Toronto Stock Exchange that specializes in products and services in the metal cutting industry. Corporate headquarters are located in Oldcastle, Ontario Canada. The company has more than 300,000 square feet of manufacturing space in ten production facilities located in the greater Windsor, Ontario area. Facilities in the United States include sales offices in Troy and Southfield, Mich. Established in 1976, Reko International Group employs in excess of 500 people. Current markets include plastic injection, compression and lost core molds (prototypes and production), custom machining, automation, fixtures and special machines, metal stamping dies (prototype and production) and computerized numerically controlled machining centers.
