I have never had food almost thrown across the table to me by a waiter. Good thing I caught the tarter sauce or it would have landed in my lap. Had to request soup spoons, condiments and water. We had asked for separate checks....which had to be redone since the waiter put the 2 women's meals together and then the 2 men's meals together. The bill was actually thrown on the table. Being on the Lake is always lovely. The food was acceptable, but certainly nothing to brag about. The service was just plain awful. And the manager's response, as he looked elswhere, "sorry." I can only imagine what it would be like if this place were busy!

We have been to the Beacon for both lunch and dinner. Great view of the lake and wonderful food. The service is good, the drinks excellent and we love the fried zucchini, fried calamari, and all the main dishes too.

One of my favorite places to eat and drink when visiting Tahoe. The restaurant sits right on the beach and the patio area looks out at beautiful Lake Tahoe! Their Rum Runners are the BEST!!! I have yet to have a bad meal here!! Live music on the weekends make for a perfect day!!

first time i went sat at the dining section...food was okay but pricey.The second time sat at the bar during Happy Hour....WOW...I couldnt believe the prices and the portions they served. Ordered 2 items..$8 for both..couldnt finish...took food home
