This is my favorite local hardware store. I am always impressed with what they carry in their inventory. I have a 1950's rambler and I often cannot find that matching replacement vent cover or cupboard handle in the big chain hardware stores but Noble Ace always seens to have it without me needing to make a trip to the city.

My profession (Area Maintenance Technician) requires frequent visits to sources of supplies and hardware throughout a large portion of eastern upstate New York, but I am always impressed by the service provided by this local Ace Hardware store. The knowledgable and helpful staff intelligently guided by Mike Philo encompasses young and older age groups, but they all seem to be ready and willing to assist a customer in their search for just the right part or item to accomplish their task. Any time I have the option, I elect to patronize this Ace Hardware store in South Glens Falls, even though prices in these smaller businesses are at times (and not always by the way) slightly higher than the big box operations. To my way of thinking, the cordial service, expertise and speed of obtaining what I need to do a job far outweigh the few cents saved at the warehouse outlets. Thanks South Glens Falls Ace Hardware!
