Tire Rack is a discount mailorder tire warehouse. They offer most major brands at competitive prices as do many other tire retailers. Where they are very weak is for warranty claims. If you have a defective tire and cannot beg a local store to help you ,you need to pay to have it dismounted , put another tire of some type on while you UPS the defect back to Tire Rack. Now you a driving on an oddball tire while waiting on Tirerack to make a determination and (hopefully) shipping you another tire. THEN you need to pay someone to remount and balance etc... I have bought 3 sets from the Tirerack and have had problems with 2 individual tires. I have been shopping locally eversince.

Their Tire Ratings are absolutely the best thing around when buying replacement tires for your car. Most of the time the tire(s) you were going to buy are not at all the best (or cheapest) in your tire category of interest. The tire comments from buyers of each tire type/brand is just fantastic....truly bad tires are clearly evident from the previous purchasers of certain tires....who knows...maybe the one you were (!) going to buy!

Found the unusual size tire we needed for our motor home at a very good price. They were delivered much faster than anticipated. Will definitely shop again.
