Darden Primary Center serves the educational needs of students in prekindergarten through grade four. The school has an enrollment of more than 600 students. Its educational program focuses on the Indiana Academic Standards for mathematics, language arts, social studies, science and health. In addition to art, music, computer technology and physical education instruction, the school s curriculum includes a social skills component. It offers hands-on inquiry science program, complete breakfast and lunch program and full support staff that include nurses, social workers and health aides. The school provides a variety of extracurricular activities to its students. Darden Primary Center is a part of the South Bend Community School Corporation and is located in South Bend, Ind.
