Walsh Electrical was formed in 1991 by the owner Michael J. Walsh Sr. Michael started his career as an electrician through the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, IBEW Local 81. He was an active member for 21 years before deciding to open his own electrical construction company. His company belongs to the NECA, ( National Electrical Contractors Association ). Along with the Scranton Chamber of Commerce and the Abington Business Association. Now 19 years later his established company is noted as one of the top 3 in the area.Walsh Electrical currently has 25 employees who are certified in NEPA70E and OSHA30 and are all members of IBEW. We have an in house safety committee and are Leviton Premise Wiring and ASCII Certified.Walsh Electrical does all types of electrical wiring, commercial, industrial and high voltage. We do maintenance work, along with communication and computer wiring. We have completed projects for Universities, Hospitals, Retail, Refrigerated Warehousing, Restaurants, Schools, Hotels, Military Bases, etc. Our fleet of trucks and equipment includes a bucket truck, digger and auger, backhoe, dump truck, job trailers and hauling trailers, several pickup trucks and service vans. We generally cover an 80-mile radius, but are not limited to that area.
