My 13 year old daughter needed a bunion and metatarsal repair. We had originally scheduled surgery with another doctor. Because of a recent move and distance to the doctor, we had to switch to another podiatrist close to home. We were so thankful we found Dr. Todd Self. We discovered there was some new treatment available that would allow her to keep most of her bone structure intact. Her doctor not only recommended this new treatment, but he also pointed out some additional issues regarding her foot's stability. We always thought my daughter was a little clumsy, but in reality there were issues with the structure of her feet aside from the metatarsal alignment. Doctor showed us how her feet would collapse, causing her to trip and fall often in addition knee pain. All this was due to misalignment. What I appreciate about Dr. Todd Self is he took a bigger picture approach to her healthcare needs!
