We bought our lawn mower here, as it was the closest Troy-Bilt certified repair shop and our lawn mower needed service under warranty. All of the reviews were good and they boast about being quicker than the competition [within 5 days is their claim - they told us 8-10], so we didn't anticipate any problems, but I can honestly say that we would not bring our mower here again. We dropped if off May 23rd and did not pick it up until June 13th. Those three weeks were frustrating for many reasons, including a complete lack of communication from the shop and an excuse every time we called to check on the mower's status. We called on day 10 and were met with "We meant 8-10 business days". Okay, we called back a few days later and were told that "The mower is done, we are just waiting on the warranty approval. Should get it this afternoon." Called back the next day and the man we spoke with said, "We aren't waiting on the warranty approval, we have that. We are waiting on the part, which should arrive on Friday." Waited until Friday, called in the afternoon and were told that nothing came from UPS and that they were short-staffed. By Monday [6/12], they told us they were still waiting on the warranted part and the blade and they "would holler and let us know the status." Not once did anyone ever call us over the three week period that our mower was in their hands. We finally were able to pick up our mower, but we don't feel it is unreasonable for a customer to expect communication in a situation like this. It was a frustrating experience and we did not appreciate their lies or rude attitudes. Time will tell what kind of "work" they did on the mower, but we will not be taking it back for maintenance like we had planned to in the beginning.Save yourself the aggravation and go elsewhere!!

The manager Bob went above and beyond to help me. I brought in a weed eater blower and a troybuilt weed wacker to be repaired. Bob let me know with a quick review of it and because of the original price, that the blower was not going to be worth spending an appraisal fee on it. My trimmer was repaired the next week and when I picked it up Bob informed me to prevenet the same problem, that the trimmer can only be stored one way because the oil will leak into the piston. I watched as the technician tested, cleaned, and loaded the trimmer into my car. I will be back next year for a tuneup to my tractor.

UNETHICAL, RUDE, DID NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR ERROR, BLAMED THE CUSTOMER.Dropped off my Toro Lawn Mower for repair. As I was not in a hurry for the mower, I did not barrage them with phone calls. I stopped in to pick up my mower, pay the $121.28 bill, which they took, only to be told the mower was behind other mowers, they would 'dig' it out, and deliver to my home the next day. I told them not to drive themselves crazy, they could hold onto the mower until Spring, and I would pick it up them. They thought that was just fine, agreed, and all was great...or so I thought. Early Spring of 2017 arrived, I phoned Peg's, to set up a day for the mower to be delivered to my home. I was told by the owners son, Scott, it would be delivered the next day. It wasn't. I stopped up, phoned once again, and both times was promised the mower would be delivered to my home; empty promises.Several days after Easter, 2017, Scott from Peg's contacted me, and said my mower had been sold, in error, by an employee that had since been terminated, AND it was sold in 2016.Peg's took my payment knowing the mower had in fact been sold, lied to me repeatedly that they were going to deliver my mower, then turned around and blamed me because I didn't pick it up, knowing an agreement was made between Peg's and myself they would hold it, and deliver it in the Spring. Peg's made that agreement knowing it was sold.Trying to be reasonable, I asked Scott, to contact the purchaser of my mower, explain it was sold in error, and to refund my $121.28, and we would call it a day. I also asked him to bring over a loaner mower, which he did, gas tank dry as a bone, and he assured me everything was being done to rectify this situation. After that meeting, I never heard from them again. Scott stated previously, they had calls into the purchaser of the mower, his father was searching the Internet for a replacement mower, all of which were lies. Scott was merely repeating what was told to him.I phoned Peg's this morning 5/2/2017, to check up on the status. The phone was answered by the owner, who after I identified myself, stated 'See you in court.' I have absolutely no idea where that came from. He was nasty, belligerent, and unbelievably sarcastic. He stated 'we are doing nothing for you, and to keep the loner mower.' 'Go mow your lawn lady, we're done.'I told him he was an unethical businessman, reiterated the agreement, but he started laughing at me.I try to support our local town businesses, but this is one business, due to the harm they did to me, and others it appears, that I hope goes folds, so they can never do this again.Go to Woodchuck's, right down the road.- A Stratford, NJ resident.

I went to Peggs because it specializes in lawn mowers and I was in need of fixing two of mines. My husband took two lawn mowers and a weed wacker to be fixed and was told he would hear from them within 7 days. We never heard from them so we call on week two to see how everything was going. I was told they would look for it and would call be right back. I did not get a call till the next day with the pricing. I then ask to get the best lawn mower fixed and the weed wacker and was told that it would be ready by the following Monday. Monday came and no call. I decided to call on Thursday and was speaking with the manager on the phone in regards to my equipments. He now said I needed a transmission for my almost new mower and I was confused because he said that all I needed was to replace the self propel cable. I was trying to explain myself when he cut me off and hung up the phone. I came over for my equipment and said he was close and it will be ready tomorrow morning. Went back the next day and the manager sees us and completely ignores us. My equipment was not ready and the technician who attended us tried to help the best he could and apologizes for the owner and said he had no recollection of me coming to pick them up today. I had to keep asking for pieces that were missing on my equipment and honestly don't feel that they really fix the problem with the weed wacker. They crank the idol up to keep it on and replace the iron head and weed plate with a plastic one that does not cover the head of the weed wacker. Besides the technician being apologetic, I would not recommend this to anyone. This place was unprofessional, rude and bad costumer service.
