Reading the initial review on YP, I was hesitant to book our daughter's 9th birthday party here. I decided to take a chance- and it was ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS! The kids had an incredible time! The staff member in charge of our party was wonderful. (In fact, she happened to be a certified K-8 teacher!) The environment was clean, safe, and friendly! I would highly recommend Young Chefs Academy for a party!

We had my 5 year old's birthday party at the Solon Young Chef's Academy. They made pizza from scratch and decorated cupcakes. I thought the party went wonderfully. The kids had a blast and the party was busy, but well organized. The facility was clean, the head chef was great with kids, and everyone had fun. I highly recommend this place and we will be back.

Big Disappointment. This place is not run professionally and the party was not worth half what I paid. They double charged my credit card when I made the first 100.00 deposit, my bank cleared that up for me. Then they changed the time of the party the night before. The day of the party the instructor was 20 minutes late. There was another party going on in the back. No one greeted us, or informed us that she would be late. I paid 225.00 for a party of only 5 kids.The invitations they make out for you, you have to pick up yourself. The "goodie bag" that they give the kids is a copy of the receipe, a cookie cutter and a coupon to come back to use on their over priced classes. Even the cupcakes that we decorated were an extra 3.00 each on top of the over priced party. The owner of this place must make a killing. NOT WORTH IT!

The worst birthday party you could imagine. Every single thing from the very first minute of the party was done wrong, ot NOT DONE. Expect ZERO communication with kids, not enough silverware where kids will use pasta sauce forks for cake, unsafe environment, unfriendly staff. Also, expect random visitors approach your party with a question: do you work here , and the only staff for the party to dissapear to the lobby. My husband and I had to run the entire show and make sure kids are safe! Our son did not get a goody bag, staff was rude - too many details to list. The owner who ran the party doesn t care to keep the clients - we won t be going back there for classes. Pure lack of accountability for the money taken - literally, a scam. If you want to spend money on your child s birthday - take it elsewhere!! The lack of communication, rude, passive staff, not enough gift bags, no racks for coats, false promises and most of all no structure to the understaffed party will leave you exhausted.
