Located in Solon, Iowa, Solon Middle School is an educational institute that enrolls students in grades five through eight. It conducts classes in English, drama, math and science. Solon Middle School offers a variety of academic and extracurricular programs, as well as instruction in social studies, computer technology, music, art and physical education. It has a media center that maintains a collection of research articles, reference materials, and fiction and nonfiction books. The school also has a parent-teacher organization that organizes several fundraising activities and coordinates school activities and events for students, teachers and parents. Solon Middle School is a part of the Solon Community School District, which governs elementary, middle and high schools.
