A one-star rating isn't even deserved. I was shipped a vintage item from Michigan and provided with all of the tracking info from the seller. The tracking info provided said that at 7:45 in the evening an attempt was made to deliver the package and that a notice was left to retrieve my package at the post office. Firstly, my entire family was home that evening and no one knocked on our door and secondly no notice was left but I had the tracking information with all of those details so I went the following day to the post office. When I arrived, I showed them all of the tracking information but they said that they did not have the package at their facility and were very unsympathetic. I tracked down my mail carrier the next day and asked her about it. She acted very confused when I showed her all of the tracking information provided by her and then she oddly showed me a photo of the package (yet still to this day no one knows who took that photo...the seller did not take it). This whole experience has been beyond frustrating. It is not so much the monetary value as the sentimental value because it is a vintage item and very few left in existence any longer. The Snohomish Post Office doesn't care one iota. Both the seller and I have spoken to various people there and they could care less what an inconvenience this has been for us. I doubt that I will get reimbursed even though this 100% the fault of the incompetent Snohomish Post Office. They are horrible.
If I could give this PO no stars I would! This is by far the most incompetent group of people I have ever dealt with. I mailed a package from Michigan Priority mail with tracking to a person who lives in this town. The tracking showed it made it to the PO and that it was out for delivery. The tracking states a notice was left. (the buyer never got a notice) as she had been watching the package through tracking she showed up at the PO the next day to pick up her package. They stated it was not at the PO. They said they would talk to the carrier and get back with her. (the carrier said they never left a notice and didn't know what the package looked like but yet the PO provided the buyer with a picture of her package....hmmm) I called them and spoke with them the following day and they thought I was the person who was in the previous day even though I told them 5 times I was the sender from Michigan. I had to open a lost package claim and here we are 8 weeks later and the package has disappeared they have no idea where it is (they had it in their possession less than 24 hours) so now I have to file to get a refund due to the fact they are just plain idiots! I am also calling the regional Post Master to let them know that the person's working at the is PO are incompetent beyond belief.

I went in today to mail a box Priority Mail International to Canada. One of the workers, a woman named S., took her tape measure, and measured the length as a diagonal with a vertical difference of as much as three inches, and then proceeded to measure the width and height in the same way, the tape measure slanted rather than horizontal with the width and height of the box. She then told me that the box would be over and 109 inches - which would have not made the box mailable Priority Mail International. I asked her to remeasure pointing out that her tape measure was at a diagonal. She refused, telling me that the width and height measured 34 inches, when they were 32. Likewise, she put the length of the box over as well. When she refused to remeasure, I said that this just couldn't be, that I have mailed over 200 of these boxes for my business. Her response: and I have worked here 25 years. I asked if I could show her with the tape measurer, and she ordered me not to touch it. Next, s

This week postal service has been arriving late - long after dark. I am concerned about new credit cards that were left over night after it became too late to check my mail box again.

Not getting Postal service in the Maltby/Clearview area is becoming more common. I put letters in my street mailbox for pick up on 10/17/13 and they were not picked up nor did I receive any mail that day even though I can count on one hand the days in a 15 year period when I didn't at least get junk mail on a daily basis. Very poor service by the PO over the past year or so. I've now started tracking and will call the complaint line each time. I'm also talking with neighbors for validation because we are finding that when one of us doesn't get delivery, the other one hasn't either. It's like they've started skipping certain areas completely if they can't get around to them by the end of their day.

Has postal delivery been stopped on Saturdays? It is now 6:00 p.m. and no mail. This is at least the 2nd time this has happened. Todays delivery would normally bring several Christmas cards. This is the Maltby area.
